Are Ceramic Coatings Scratch Proof?No. Ceramic coatings can provide a level of scratch and swirl resistance. The key word here is resistance. Things like very light swirling and scratching caused during a proper wash process can be mitigated with a ceramic coating. If you drag a dry and dirty wash mitt across the paint, you will scratch the paint. If you drag your hand or leg across the paint, you will scratch it.

It is recommend to bare minimum hand wash your vehicle once a month. Our software sends you reminders to come in every 6 months or 1 year to receive a deep exterior detail to ensure your coating will last its rated durability and perform optimally.
